mHotspot

Here’s the scenario I had in mind. You have an internet connected Windows laptop and an Android smartphone, but no router and no data plan. So there’s no possible way to use your Android to go online, right? Wrong! mHotspot has been designed to address just such a situation. You see, this software application can turn your laptop into a Wifi hotspot. Just connect to it and use your Android to surf the web.

mHotspot is available for Microsoft’s Windows operating system and for Google’s Android mobile OS. Get mHotspot for Windows (available for download right here on FindMySoft) and you will be able to turn your PC into a WiFi hotspot. Get mHotspot for Android (available for download on Google Play) and you will be able to turn your Android mobile into a WiFi hotspot (but mind you, this sort of functionality is already built into the Android OS).

Download an installer, run it, and a setup wizard will show up. Said wizard will help you install mHotspot on your Windows PC. It will take you through all the steps you need to take to install mHotspot on your PC. Please note that said setup wizard will ask to install some additional software on your PC.

You will be glad to know that should you need help, you can use the built-in Troubleshooter, you can access a complete guide, and you can watch a video tutorial. But mind you, mHotspot is quite easy to use so I doubt you will need any of these. Still, it’s nice to know that helpful documentation is available.
